A big part of Phi Sigma Sigma is helping those who are less fortunate. Each sister is required to have six hours of community service per month, but most sisters strive for many more hours. Sisters help out at local hospitals, with 4-H, at Nursing Homes, in Schools, with Relay for Life, making Tie Blankets, at Animal Shelters, at Cedar Point, making Cards, Pumping Gas, through Yard Work, with the Can Council, and working at Soup Kitchens.
