​We are a dynamic, principled, passionately committed group of women from around the world who define ourselves not by our distinct differences, but by what we have in common. We are over 100 years old, and growing. Founded in 1913 in New York City, Phi Sigma Sigma is internationally recognized as a progressive, successful women’s philanthropic and social organization with cutting-edge leadership programming for college students, active clubs and special events for alumnae from coast to coast, a new Headquarters, a strong Foundation, state-of-the-art technological capabilities, and a strategic focus on our future.
OUR MISSION
To inspire the personal development of each sister and perpetuate the advancement of womanhood.
More than 60,000 members strong, our sisters are mothers, family and community leaders, professionals of the highest caliber, role models, wives, daughters and the closest of friends. Phi Sigma Sigma at SVSU was founded on May 2nd 1998. We have grown from those few early ladies starting an organization to being over 50 strong. No longer are we just a club, but we are a unique group of women dedicated to something bigger than ourselves. We are a family, we are sisters forever. As the saying goes, ONCE A PHI SIGMA SIGMA, ALWAYS A PHI SIGMA SIGMA.
