Meet the Executive Board!

Archon/President

I am Kelsey, I am the president of Iota Alpha. Archon is another word for President. As Archon, I am responsible for international correspondence and the chapter's performance. I am the chapter's official representative. 

Vice-Archon/Vice-President

 

My name is Sara, and I support the Archon and am charge of committees. The term Vice Archon is another way of saying Vice President. I will fill in for the Archon in the case of her absence, while I am also responsible for the chapter's education. It is my duty to create and supervise the other council chairmen and their committees. 

Sisterhood Development

My name is Rachel, and it is my job to help out new members, and keep our sisterhood bond strong. As Sisterhood Development chair, I am responsible for helping the New Members as they begin their journey through Phi Sigma Sigma, while continuing to help strengthen the bonds of all our members. 

Member-at-Large

​My name is Megan and I keep records of our rules and standards. As MAL, I oversee the standards board. I ensure that the standards of sisterhood are obtained by every sister. 

Bursar/Treasurer

I am Alayna, and as Bursar, or treasurer, I am in charge of the chapter's finance committee and chapter's funds.  

Scribe/Secretary

My name is Hannah, I am in charge of correspondance and I am in charge of keeping accurate accounts for our chapter.  

Tribune/Secretary

I am Hailey, I am also in charge of records. I take minutes during meetings,  while also keeping track of proceedings and members at those meetings. 

 

Once a year, the executive board travels to meet other chapters executive boards from all around the United States and Canada. Sisters gain training in their positions while making new friends. The weekend also includes service events, a foundation dinner, and keynote speakers.

I am Ali, and I represent Phi Sigma Sigma at all Greek Events, especially Panhellenic events. 

Membership Recruitment

I am Abby, I am in charge organizing, planning, and implementing recruitment. I also am in charge of the process for inviting new members to our amazing organization. 

Meet the Executive Council!
Sunshine/Spirit Chairman

My name is Sami! My job as the sunshine and spirit chairman is to create an upbeat and cheerful atmostphere in the chapter. My committee and I are in charge of providing encouraging support through difficult times, appointing "Sister of the Week"s, and I'm also responsible for putting together themes for informal meetings!  

Historian Chairman

My name is Amy! I'm in charge of the ongoing preservation and updating the chapters history, a detailed account of its creation and each initiated sister!  

Sisterhood Chairman

My name is Emily! I'm in charge of planning sisterhoods once a month during the academic year!  

Service/Philanthropy Chairman

My name is Avery! My job as the Service and Philanthropy Chairman is to monitor sisterhood philanthropy hours, raise money for the Phi Sigma Sigma foundation, and also planning and supervising volunteer work on campus and in the local community! 

Health & Wellness Chairman

My name is Ally! I'm in charge of promoting healthy eating and exercising habits, keeping track of each individual sisters 5 work out hours a month, and organizing chapter participation in intramural activities!

Fundraising Chairman

My name is Jessica! My job is to plan out one chapter activity a month during the academic year to raise money for additional programming functions throughout the chapter!

Multiculturalism Chairman

My name is Corinne! As the multiculturalism chairman, I strive to enrich the lives of members by making them aware and exposing them to events and opportunities that are related to culture, ethnicity, and diversity. My committee and I conduct an conduct an ongoing program to develop an understanding of and appreciation for other heritages, cultures, and religious beliefs brought to by the chapter by its membership!

Public Relations Chairman

I am responsible for creating banners, press releases, posters, and other forms of publicity. I'm in charge of promoting recruitment, philanthropy, and fundraising events around campus. I moderate and control all social media accounts on behalf of the chapter.

Fashion & Design Chairman

My name is Kennedy! My job is to organize group orders of Phi Sigma Sigma clothing, jewelry, and other paraphernalia. This includes the ordering of shirts for events that are held by the chapter that require an order for every sister!

Special Events Chairman

My name is Cassidy! My committee and I are responsible for the chapters participation in Battle of the Valleys, Homecoming, Founders Day, and Relay for Life. I am also responsible for planning semi-formal and formal!

Scholarship Chairman

My name is Kayla! I'm responsible for overseeing the chapters academic progress, planning events such as study nights, library hours, and midterm/finals gatherings. I'm also in charge of promoting life long learning events for the chapter that include resume building, interviewing skills, and study skills!  

Parliamentarian 

My job is to advise the Archon at all chapter meetings on matters related to Robert’s Rules of Order.

Social Chairman

My name is Alyssa! My job is to plan and execute all social events and functions!   

Family Relations Chairman

My name is Lauren! My job as the family relations chairman is to establish and maintain communication with parents and family members of all collegiate members. I am also responsible for publishing a newsletter and organizing an event for the parents and families of the chapter.
